Inspired by the ongoing struggles caused by systemic racism, our song echoes the voices demanding justice and freedom. Countless lives have been sacrificed to police brutality and mass incarcerations. In this song, Lunar shares his experience as an African American youth protesting against the oppression communities of color experience.
This year has brought two pandemics, COVID-19 and hatred. Woven into the fabric of America, racism has infected this country since its inception. It is not sufficient to abolish slavery, the government must remove discrimination from our laws and institutions.
