Over 10,000 people, most of them from the United States, have signed a petition reading:
"To: The governments of Germany, Russia, UK, France and China
CC: Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy
We urge you to uphold the Iran nuclear deal and insist on full economic relations with Iran."

"We're encouraged by the support within the United States for maintaining the agreement in the rest of the world," said David Swanson, campaign coordinator for RootsAction.org. "We're also encouraged by early indications from the other parties to the agreement that they intend to uphold it and to maintain cooperative relations with Iran."
"Of course it is extremely disappointing and dangerous," Swanson added, "for the United States to be advertising to Korea, Iran, and the rest of the world that it will not keep its promises."
The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, has said: "We are determined to keep this deal in place." In an obvious reference to Trump, Mogherini said: "It seems that screaming, shouting, insulting and bullying, systematically destroying and dismantling everything that is already in place, is the mood of our times."
"The nuclear accord belongs to the whole of the international community," Mogherini said. "To the Iranian people I say: do not let anyone dismantle this deal, one of the greatest achievements of the international community . . . the culmination of 12 years of diplomacy."
